The nature test
A nature assessment provides quick insight into potential ecological risks at or around your project site. By investigating this early, you avoid delays or unexpected obligations later in the process. We conduct a desk study using maps, data sources, and existing knowledge to assess the potential presence of protected animal or plant species. We also consider the location relative to ecologically important areas, such as the National Ecological Network (NNN) and Natura 2000 areas.
We'll also visit the site itself to assess the current situation. Based on this information, we'll assess your plans against applicable nature legislation. You'll receive a clear report with our conclusions, an assessment of ecological risks, and practical advice. This way, you'll quickly know where you stand and avoid surprises later on.

Cost guideline
The cost of a nature assessment depends on the location, the nature of the work, and the clarity of the site. We use the following guidelines to give you an idea of the investment:
- 🏡 Small project – from €500* For example: a single house with a manageable garden. Consider insulation measures, roof renovation, or adding a dormer window or extension.
- 🌳 Medium-sized project – from €700* For example: a house with a large or leafy garden, abundant greenery, trees, or a location near nature reserves. Potentially larger-impact projects, such as filling in a ditch or laying new paving, also often fall into this category.
- 🏗️ Large project – from €1,000* For example: multiple plots, areas with limited accessibility, or plans that require a lot of research, such as large-scale renovation, redevelopment or the construction of additional buildings.
These prices are guidelines. The exact price depends on the local situation, the degree of ecological impact, and the required preparation time. *All prices mentioned above exclude VAT and any travel expenses.
