If the nature assessment reveals the possible presence of protected species, species-specific research will follow. This course will teach you how to design, conduct, and report on this research with sound evidence, in accordance with national protocols and within the appropriate research periods.


In 8 lesson modules you will learn: 🌿 When and why species-specific research is necessary 🌿 How to draw up a research plan according to the guidelines 🌿 How to take weather conditions and other field conditions into account 🌿 How to identify target species – through behaviour, sound, tracks and roosting sites 🌿 How to report your findings in a substantiated and clear manner
