We prefer to manage permitting processes from start to finish – from the initial ecological study to the submission of the activity plan. This way, we maintain control over the content, ensure sound ecological justification, and the permitting process runs efficiently and without surprises.
If you join at a later date, for example, with a report from another consultancy, we're happy to provide further guidance. We'll critically review the substantiation, supplement it where necessary, correct any deficiencies, and ensure the application meets the requirements of the competent authority.
Permitting process
If your project may impact protected natural areas, a permit is often required under the Environmental Act. This applies, for example, to construction, demolition, or development work, or to felling trees in areas where protected species occur. Thorough preparation is essential – we ensure a carefully substantiated and complete permit application.
Have you previously had us conduct a nature assessment or species-specific study? We can then prepare the application directly based on this information. Even if the ecological study was conducted by another agency, we are happy to take over the process. We will assess the quality of the submitted documents and incorporate them into the application if appropriate.
We handle the entire application process: from preparing the supporting documents and submitting them to the appropriate agency, to contacting the competent authority. We'll proactively keep you informed throughout the process. You'll receive clear communication focused on your role as initiator or implementer – without unnecessary jargon.
